Real Madrid striker Julio Baptista has emerged as a target for Chelsea and Manchester City.

DiarioSport are reporting that the Spanish side are hoping to offload the former Arsenal striker during the January transfer window.

It is believed that the players agent Herminio Menendez has spoken with club officials from both Manchester City and Chelsea over the last week.

The Premiership sides will not have it easy in a bid to sign the Brazilian however, with the likes of AC Milan, Inter and Juventus all also keen on the striker.
