Manchester City Close In On £7 Million Deal For Portsmouth's Younes Kaboul - Report
Manchester City are on the verge of sealing a £7 million deal to take Portsmouth defender Younes Kaboul to Eastlands, according to a report from The News of the World.

Roberto Mancini's side are apparently keen to cash in on Pompey's current financial plight and believe former Tottenham Hotspur man Kaboul will help boost their defensive options despite already having Joleon Lescott, Kolo Toure and Micah Richards on their books.
The French centre-back has been impressive on the south coast after a somewhat underwhelming spell at White Hart Lane two years ago.
But the 24-year-old has shown good form in difficult circumstances at Fratton Park this campaign, looking much more like the player former Spurs boss Martin Jol described as the "best young central defender in Europe" when he signed him from Auxerre for £5m.
