MANCHESTER CITY are closing in on a deal for Colombian wonderkid Cristian Bonilla.

The goalkeeper, who starred at last year's Under-17 World Cup, is set to
move
to Roberto Mancini's side from Boyaca Chico.

Bonilla, 17, said: "The only thing that is left to do is my medical tests
and sign the contract.

"Besides the fact that I may be loaned to another team, this is a very important door that gets opened for my career.

"I will have to start to take English lessons very soon.

"Everything has been arranged and according to what the club president, Eduardo Pimental, has said to me the transfer has been confirmed."
