Blackburn boss Paul Ince wants to snatch Stephen Ireland from Manchester City - but his stunning comeback appearance has put a £3.5million deal in doubt.

Ireland's great display in Sunday's 3-0 win over West Ham will either increase his valuation beyond what Blackburn can afford - or take him off the transfer market.
