Report: Man City Want Eto'o, Santa Cruz & Tevez

According to various reports in the British press, Premier League money men Manchester City are set to flex their financial muscle in the hope of luring three top strikers to Eastlands during the close-season.

The Citizens have been linked with Barcelona's Samuel Eto'o recently, and The Daily Mirror claims they are confident of landing the 28-year-old with a bid of around €29.3 million (£25m).

Although it is thought that City officials have been in Catalonia to conclude negotiations, Italian giants Inter may hijack their move for the Cameroon international striker.

Meanwhile, Roque Santa Cruz recently stated that he may remain with Blackburn Rovers after all, but reports on Friday suggest he will be moving to Eastlands.

The Sun, The Daily Mirror and The Daily Mail all write that the 27-year-old Paraguay international could complete the switch over the weekend for a fee between £15-18m.

It is also claimed that City are monitoring Carlos Tevez's situation at Manchester United and are willing to match his wage demands should he opt to leave Old Trafford.
