Vote now for Etihad Player of the Month

February is about to disappear over the horizon and it is time to vote for the Etihad Player of the Month.

From March onwards we have decided to simplify our popular competition and focus the voting. Fans will now find a shortlist of five from which to choose the Blues most effective performer.

Nothing else has changed and one lucky fan will be afforded the opportunity to present the winning player with his prize at the Carrington Training Centre and also ask the first couple of questions in the interview that follows.

A panel of ‘experts’ who watch all of City’s games home and away have nominated the five men on this month’s shortlist. They are:

The man who has cut his head, hurt his knee, scored a goal and was generally at the top of his game MICAH RICHARDS.

Heart of the defence and a player who rarely if ever has a bad match VINCENT KOMPANY.

Spanish World Cup winner DAVID SILVA whose silky skills have continued to wow the City faithful and who has already won this prize three times this season.

Skipper CARLOS TEVEZ who has continued to amaze with his feats in front of goal and of course reached the magic fifty goal mark for the club during the month.

Finally last but not least a man who was also on the score sheet YAYA TOURE whose bulldozing runs and eye for a pass have continued to make him a formidable opponent.
