I already have that pit in my stomach. You know the one, it comes as an international break approaches. You can't eat, can't sleep. Beer tastes watered down and the sun just doesn't seem to shine as bright.

A bit overdramatic? Perhaps. But it's my blog and I'll cry if I want to. At least we'll have plenty of Premier League action to watch here in the States with all but one match available on TV somewhere.

I've slipped to third in The Other Table pick 'em contest and am hoping I can regain my footing before the two week break.

If you want to participate, put your picks in the comments box and put your legit e-mail address in. Each week when my picks have been made, I'll email you the link to where you can put your picks in for the next week so you don't have to worry about remembering. I've included a listing of the matches below my picks for you to copy and paste into your comment. I'll also let you know when the standings have been updated. Times are ET and TV listings are for the United States. Remember, it's three points for picking the winner or draw, five if you get the score spot-on. Good luck picking.

07:45 ET Man Utd v Wigan - SET
The wins keep coming for Manchester United despite the fact that they aren't exactly inspiring massive praise for their form. When it comes down to it though, isn't winning all that matters? Manchester United keeps winning 1-0.

10:00 ET Aston Villa v West Ham - SET
Aston Villa had Tottenham 4-1 at White Hart Lane and gave up three goals to leave with only a point. How do you recover from that? We'll find out as a tough Hammers club heads to Villa Park. This is a great mid-table clash and I think Aston Villa will wni their fourth at home. Villa 2-1.

07:00 ET Arsenal v Sunderland - SET
What is it about beating Derby County? Liverpool did it 6-0 and has slumped since. Arsenal outscored the Rams 5-0 and has followed it up with two less-than-impressive 1-0 wins over West Ham and Steaua Bucharest. Of course, to be fair, Arsenal might not have won those matches a year ago. Sunderland will prove a challenge, but Arsenal will head to the international break firmly on top of the table. Arsenal 3-1.

09:00 ET Reading v Derby
This is looking more and more like a relegation six pointer and it's still early October. Reading is just a point ahead of the drop zone will Derby County has been outscored 16-0 on the road this year. Ouch. Reading gets a hop back in its step with a 3-1 win.

10:00 ET Blackburn v Birmingham - FSC (D)
This just in folks, Blackburn is for real and might not be a sleeper pick for Europe now, they might be become a favored club to finish in the top 7. They're seventh right now and have only one loss on the season. Birmingham City is proving to be the best of the promoted club's this season and Steve Bruce's boys will keep fighting to a 1-1 draw.

10:00 ET Bolton v Chelsea - SET
Avram Grant had his assistant updating his CV after Valencia went a goal up on Wednesday, but Didier Drogba saved the Israeli some grief as he capped a strong comeback by the Blues. Now they face a must-win trip to the Reebok if they want to consider themselves title contenders this season. Why is it must-win? Because Bolton has been awful this year. Chelsea 2-0.

10:00 ET Liverpool v Tottenham - FSC
The big question in this one will be how each team rebounds from significant matches this week. Liverpool lost their first match in all competitions on Wednesday while Tottenham raced back from three goals down to draw with Aston Villa and prevent an embarrassing 125th birthday celebration. That draw could turn things around for Martin Jol - or not. Liverpool gets back on track just in time for Rafa to complain about the international break. Liverpool 2-1.

10:00 ET Man City v Middlesbrough - SET (D)
A match that looks lopsided on paper, and likely will look that way on the pitch. Manchester City and Arsenal are the only clubs perfect at home thus far this season and there's no reason City won't keep that up in this one. Middlesbrough has looked shocking. Man City 3-0.

10:00 ET Newcastle v Everton - SETX (SET-D)
Along with the match at Anfield, this is the cream of the crop for Sunday matches. Newcastle returns home where they haven't lost after sustaining a significant beating to Manchester City. Everton is on the outside of the top 4 and need a win here to keep pace. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say they get one. Everton 2-1.

11:10 ET Fulham v Portsmouth - FSC (D)
A full Sunday slate comes to an end with Fulham hosting high-flying Pompey. All the signs point to Portsmouth to continue strongly after their seven goal outburst last weekend. I see it differently. Draw 0-0.
