Barca invite Man City bid for Ibrahimovic
Barcelona have invited Manchester City to make a sensational move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Swedish striker's future remains in doubt following the arrival of David Villa from Valencia earlier this summer.
Ibrahimovic, who signed from Barcelona last summer, scored 21 goals in 36 matches for the Catalan giants last season.
City are said to be interested in speaking to Barcelona regarding a
move for the 28-year-old, with Roberto Mancini hell-bent on spending
millions to create a title-winning team this season.
Having spent over £100m this summer, Mancini has now been told to put his money where his mouth is regarding a move for striker Ibrahimovic.
Barcelona sporting vice president Josep Maria Bartomeu said: "To leave
Barcelona, City will have to put money on the table - an option they
have not taken up so far."
